About Us

In the laminate and solid surface industry, I spent thirty-two years. After
retiring I soon found I greatly missed being a part of an industry that offered
a challenge everyday and for me, after all those years, a way of life. I set
out on a journey and with inspiration and guidance from my Heavenly
Father, created an advanced method for making templates for this industry.
My experience gave me all the tools required to understand completely
what needed to be done to take this idea to the market and make it
affordable for the end user. For some thirty years I witnessed lauan strips
hanging out of boxed vans and trucks, before and after a job was
templated. With my product you now can template out of a small bag and
with little effort, roll the template up and put it in a small area to be
transported. The templates can actually be shipped in a box.

The other part of "about us" is my wife and partner, Carolyn. Having owned
and operated her own real estate company for many years, she was able to
handle the administrative, design and marketing aspect of the company.
Together we have over fifty years marketing and sales experience and are
committed to a quality product, competitive pricing and excellent service!

As exhibitors in the Greensboro 2005 Wood workers Expo, we very successfully introduced our
product to several southern states. In March we traveled to Las Vegas as exhibitors in the
International Solid Surface Trade Show, were Ken Pfister of Florenata Solid Surface used
TEMPLAMAT to demonstrate new templating techniques in his seminars. As exhibitors there we
secured additional distributors and were thrilled to again work with the people that make this such
an incredible journey. April found us tremendously excited as we were exihibitors in The Covering
in Orlando, Florida. As invited guest to the Vic International Booth, we again experienced an
overwhelming desire of many individuals and distributors to become part of the Templmat Team.
